It's been so long. Looking back, those days seem forlorn, though that's just the effect of age I'm sure.
Is it to always be this way? Time flies by slowly as we grasp at the strings it drags behind it. Faces of old friends
begin to fade away. The places we used to love slowly lose their distinct features and fade into the black palette
of our mind.
Nah, I'm just screwing with ya.
Here's the deal peeps. As it stands this very moment, I do not have internet. "But the how are you typing this Mr. Singed?"
Shut up. I'm at a Starbucks.
Seriously, I'm sorry about the huge delay. It started with me hitting a wall in my writing. It got to the point where it was
easier to bash my head against the wall until words came out than it was to actually type up the story. I got stuck with
that block for a while, and I think it's still lingering a little. After a while, things eased up, and text was flowing onto the
pages once more.
Except not in the right order. I ended up writing a middle chapter, writing the parts of a couple of the end chapters,
refining some things for the beginning chapters, the list goes on and on. My League GN folder makes Y2K look like
a joke (does that metaphor even work?). In time, things will come together, but while it's in broken bits and pieces like this,
I'm not sure when you'll see something up again.
On the bright side, this whole "no internet" thing has had me glued to Paint Tool Sai and my sketchbook for a while. I might
upload some of my work soon, and you'll get to see what I mean when I say I'm months or even years away from ever
creating something I deem worthy of the graphic novel. Hurray self-esteem!
Anyway, thanks for being patient. As always, I'll be watching things from a distance. If you need to get in touch, you can do
so on the League forums, here, my email, or even the facebook page. I'm always checking those out, constantly thinking how
cool it'd be to be a little more popular... don't mind me... no, these aren't tears... no, I'm not sad that Iron Stylus isn't saying
anything about my work.
This is your one and only prophet and guide to the League, and once more though not for the last time, I bid you adieu,
~Probably Singed~
P.S. Not having internet sucks. You'd figure I'd eventually get bored enough to go throw sticks at a car or something, but somehow I find myself staring at the wall wondering why I'm so bored. Somehow that's more entertaining. Eh, first world problems.
